AI disclosure

How we use AI, in plain terms.

NextJobMate is an AI job agent. That word gets abused, so here is the honest version: what our AI does, where mobile and website submission differ, and how your tailored CV stays grounded in your real experience.

The short version: it shows its work, and you stay in control.
What the AI does

Three jobs, all reviewable.

AI touches three parts of your hunt. Every output is something you can read, edit, and reject before it goes anywhere.

Discovery and matching

AI reads live job descriptions and your profile to surface roles that actually fit, and to explain why each one matched. Search runs against our own deduped corpus of verified-live postings, not a stale index.

Honest CV tailoring

AI rewrites your CV for a specific role using only your written history and evidence you explicitly add. Every rewritten line is checked before it ships, and any ATS number shown is a measured result for that exact CV and job description—not a promised uplift.

Gap docs and interview prep

AI builds a gap analysis of what a role wants versus what you have, and drafts likely interview questions with model answers grounded in your real background. You review and edit everything.

What the AI never does

The lines we do not cross.

These are product boundaries, not marketing. They are enforced in the code, and they get stricter as we grow, not looser.

  • Never invents experience. Tailoring is provenance-validated. If a claim cannot be traced to a real line in your history, it does not make it into your CV. We would rather show a lower score than a fabricated one.
  • Never auto-applies from mobile. Mobile never auto-applies; it hands the application to you, and you submit it yourself. See our review-before-submit pledge.
  • Never submits a website role without your approval. On supported websites, your paired Chrome extension may submit only after your explicit approval for that role. One approval does not grant permission for another role.
  • Never scrapes your logged-in accounts. We do not log into job boards on your behalf using shared burner accounts. Discovery uses public and partner sources; any authenticated action runs through your own browser session, with your consent.
Grounded, not generated

Tailoring starts from your real CV.

When you tailor for a role, the AI does not write a new you. It starts from the master CV you gave us and re-frames what is already there to speak to that job. It can reorder, re-emphasize, and re-word your real achievements. It cannot add a skill you never listed or a job you never held.

Before a tailored CV is finalized, each bullet is validated against your source history. Unsupported claims are dropped or flagged rather than quietly kept. An ATS score is published only after the exact CV and job are measured by the versioned scorer. If that measurement is unavailable, the score stays unavailable instead of being estimated.

See exactly how each line traces back to your history on the provenance page.

Your data

Handled under DPDP and GDPR.

What we store

Your profile, the CVs and prep you generate, and the record of which jobs you looked at, so your assistant can pick up where you left off. Free wedge tools like the profile scorers store nothing at all.

Delete your data

You can export or delete your data at any time from your account. We process under India's DPDP Act and the GDPR, and we do not sell your data or use it to train third-party models. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
